“We were first given keys to an occupied room. They upgraded our room for the inconvenience but I didn’t want a room with a jet tub. The sheets and pillow cases were stained. The breakfast was extremely limited, cold, and poor.”

However, the property appears to need maintenance, as several areas look worn and somewhat neglected. The parking lot also seems poorly maintained, which does not create a great first impression. “There were some stains on the wall and in the shower. The sliding door was broken (off its track) when we arrived. The towels were so scratchy. Not a bad place to stay for the price, but could definitely improve the facilities.”

“If you have a weak stomach from smells do not stay there. The room was clean. The stool didn’t work. The smell in the office and hallway was terrible. I even used Lysol spray and that couldn’t cut it. ”

I had arrived at Cobblestone Inn, ready to check in after a day of traveling, only to be told my reservation had been cancelled, they had no rooms to rebook me, and they could not help me in any way. Expedia was great about refunding my money, which I appreciated.”

“They were defrosting refrigerator of our room. Frig stuffed with towels. We mentioned this was bothersome and they said they could move us but the asked if we had used the bathroom and acted that if we had it would need to be recleaned so we never moved. Came back later to find water all over floor and they gave us towels to clean it up ourselves.”
